Raised in Caruthersville, Missouri, and having spent more than a decade working in rural Arkansas, he brings firsthand knowledge of the operational and structural challenges faced by communities of varying sizes and contexts.

Previously, at MERS Goodwill, he contributed to the development of workforce and skill-building programs designed to prepare young people for career-connected learning and employment pathways.

His work with Arkansas Early Learning included leadership roles in community partnerships and program compliance, supporting early childhood initiatives and helping ensure families had access to quality services and resources.
